October is officially Silent Movie Month in Ithaca! In spring of 2012, October was officially proclaimed Silent Movie Month in the City of Ithaca by Mayor Svante Myrick. Each October, silent film and the role Ithaca’s Wharton, Inc. Studio played in early American filmmaking is highlighted through screenings, presentations and exhibits throughout Ithaca.
