Ithaca Coalition for Unity and Cooperation in the Middle East (ICUCME) presents
Anti-Semitism in Europe
Thursday, March 7 at 7 pm
More than 1,600 antisemitic incidents were documented in Germany last year. Thousands of Jews have fled France due to a 74% rise in antisemitism. What is happening in Europe? The Ithaca Coalition for Unity and Cooperation in the Middle East (ICUCME) will explore this question in the second film in its “Antisemitism around the World” series, on March 7. The film, “Antisemitism in Europe,” was produced by Deutsche Welle, Germany’s public broadcasting service. The screening will be followed by a community discussion. The event takes place at Cinemapolis, 120 E Green St, Ithaca, at 7:00 PM, and is free.
ICUCME is a grass-roots anti-racist community organization working to bring a constructive approach into dialogue about Israel and the Greater Middle East. As a non-partisan organization, ICUCME embraces fact-based, respectful dialogue, mutual recognition, and cooperation to promote understanding and support peace in the region.
Admission to all events in the series is free. For more information about ICUCME, see https://icu-cme.org.
